Covid-19 regulations – please stay home if you  are feeling unwell , are sick, if you are displaying symptoms of Covid-19 have been in close contact with a person who has Covid-19 or has tested positive for Covid-19  and following  have not yet received a negative test result . .

When booking any of Margaret River Forest and Coast Walks (MRFCW) and its products, it is understood that you have read, understood and agree to be bound by the terms and conditions set out below, including our waivers regarding your participation in our outdoor activities with MRFCW.  Please take time to read it and please tick the box prior to payment.


Covid-19 – There will be special considerations of the following cancellation policy when Covid 19 is the case.   Day Tours can be paid prior to tour to secure your place, and a full refund provided if you cancel up to 48 hours before tour starts. A 50% refund is provided if you cancel up to 24 hours before tour starts. No refund is given if you cancel within 24 hours of the commencement of the tour.

Multi-Day-Tours: A non-refundable deposit of 10% of the tour cost is paid at the time of booking.   The balance is required 28 days before the tour commences. If you cancel 27 to 14 days before the commencement of tour– 75% of the total will be refunded.   From 13 to 7 day s before commencement, 50% will be refunded. There will be no refund if you cancel within 7 days of the commencement of the tour.


To operate the walk tour a minimum of 3 persons is required. If the minimum is not reached the tour will be cancelled.  An alternative date will be offered. If the date is not accepted a full refund will be given.  Notice of any cancellation to you will be given at least 24 hours before the commencement of the Day Tour and 7 days for a Multi-Day-Tour.  We will inform you when a tour is guaranteed as soon as numbers are met.


We reserve the right to make changes due to circumstances that might arise that affect our ability to deliver our walk tour or products connected to it that you have paid for, e.g. accommodation or transfers.  In the event that we are forced to change your arrangements, a substitute arrangement of a similar standard will be provided.

For your safety and comfort we reserve the right to re-route, delay, change times or dates of walk because of weather conditions or hazards that may make the walk too dangerous or risky to start or continue.


At times there are events that may occur on the walk that are beyond our control. It is therefore necessary for you to be clear that your safety is your responsibility and that you undertake these activities with full awareness of this fact.  You will be asked to sign a waiver with respect to the walking and any activities undertaken on the day of the walk.

Indemnity and release

I acknowledge that my participation in this activity may involve risk due to outdoor nature of this activity.   This may include exposure to weather extremes, unexpected weather change, physical exertion, rugged terrain in a remote area, water activities, swimming, snorkeling, wading over river or streams.  Wildlife can be dangerous and life threatening. I understand the physical nature of the activity and acknowledge that it is a condition of participation in this activity and that I do so at my own risk.

I acknowledge that I will have to take suitable clothing and equipment including sturdy footwear and protection from the elements including rain, wind and sun.

I recognize the potential risks and am confident that I am physically and mentally fit enough to participate safely in the activity and that a qualified medical practitioner has not advised me otherwise

I am not aware of any medical condition, injury, or impairment that will be detrimental to my health if I participate in this activity. In the event that I become aware of any medical condition, injury or impairment that may be detrimental to my health if I participate in this activity, guides or staff will be immediately informed.  By continuing to participate in this activity, I accept the risks under the terms of the agreement.

To the full extent permitted by law, I accept all risks associated with undertaking the activity and hereby indemnify and release guides, staff, their agents, affiliates, employees, members, sponsors, promoters and any person or body directly or indirectly associated with the guide or staff, against all liability claims, demands and proceedings arising out of or connected with their participation in this activity.

I agree to abide by the instructions given, rules and regulations governing the tour and to follow any reasonable direction issued by the Guide or representatives.  Any costs and fines arising from my negligence on the tour is my responsibility and will be paid by me.

I consent to receiving any rescue assistance, first aid and medical treatment that the provider or authorized representatives consider necessary during the tour and agree to reimburse the provider for any costs or expenses incurred providing me with rescue assistance, first aid or medical treatment including evacuation.  I consent to the hospital and doctor’s reports relating to any medical attention received being given to the provider.

In the event of parks /paths being closed because of extreme weather conditions, fire, or path instability or any hazards that lead to cancellation of the tour, I acknowledge and agree that all or some my fees may not be refunded.

I acknowledge and consent to photographs and electronic images being taken of me during my participation of the tour.  I acknowledge that such photographs and images are owned by the provider and consent to the Provider   use the photographs for promotional use. , Further, I consent to the provider using my name, statements at any time by any media without any payment or compensation during or after the tour. However if I don’t wish to have my photograph taken and used for promotion, I will inform MRFCW beforehand and not take part in photography.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Provider is not liable for any consequential or indirect loss or damages.

This release and indemnity continues forever and binds participants heirs, successors, executors, personal representatives and assigns..

Participants certify that they are 18 years. Alternatively, parents or guardians of the participant, have permitted to allow their child to partake in the walk and all its undertakings and agree to all terms and conditions outlined.
